Pest Control in The Reading Central Area
As PEST UK started its pest control operations in Reading and it is the largest town in Berkshire as expected it is the area with the most PEST UK Pest Control Contracts ranging from restaurants, offices, schools, garages, Ambulance Stations, hospitals, pubs and clubs to private homes, farms and old peoples homes. Apart from the PEST UK pest control contract base, PEST UK carry out many pest control one off treatments for estate agents, housing associations and domestic premises in the Reading area. The pests include: wasp nests, bees, ants, bed bugs, rats, squirrels, mice, foxes, moles, cluster flies, fleas and all other types of insect pests. There is a fairly old sewer system in the central Reading area, this leads to increased incidents of rats, mice and cockroach problems where the sewer system has been breached.
We regularly treat pest control problems for rodents and Oriental cockroaches emerging from the central Reading sewer system. As well as old sewers Reading has 2 rivers, a canal and railway lines through the centre. These provide pest control problems as they supply food and shelter to rats, mice, squirrels and some insect pests.

The 19th century saw the arrival of the railway which benefitted the towns brewing, baking and seed growing businesses in the town. Little damage was done to the town during either world wars except for a single plane in February 1943, which attacked the town leaving 41 dead and over 100 injured.
