Steve Tiller is in charge of the Uxbridge Office. The Uxbridge office is one of PEST UK’s newer branches and is on the Eastern side of the service area.

Uxbridge is part of West London in the Borough of Hillingdon. It became part of Greater London in 1965. During the Civil War talks were held between the two sides in Uxbridge. A pub was named after these failed talks called the Crown and Treaty. It is still there today. Uxbridge also houses the Battle of Britain bunker where the air defenses were organized from. Uxbridge suffered bombing during the 2nd World War including from V1 flying bombs.

Several International companies have offices in the town. These include: Canon, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Apple, WMS Gaming, Unisys, Kuehne + Nagel, PAREXEL, Xerox, Coco-Cola Company and Cadbury. Uxbridge has a University: Brunel University. There is one Underground Station. There were 2 overground stations but these were closed.

PEST UK’s presence in Uxbridge is still small compared to our other areas and is an area we are looking to expand into. At present we have some take away shops on pest control contracts in Uxbridge and are regularly carrying out ‘one off’ pest control treatments such as wasp nest or rat and mouse treatments.

Some of the pests we deal with:
RatsYou may see rats during daylight hours but they prefer to operate at night.
AntsWorker ants will frequently enter dwellings foraging for food, particularly sweet substances.
CockroachesCockroaches are mainly nocturnal so they are more likely to be seen at night.
SquirrelsThe most common complaint about Squirrels is when they take residence in a loft space.
MiceYou may see, hear or smell a mouse problem or see other evidence such as burrowing in insulation or soil.
WaspsWasps are aggressive and will sting readily if they think the nest is in danger.
