Pest Control In Ottershaw
Jay Wilkins runs the Ottershaw PEST UK pest control office. The Ottershaw office is one PEST UK’s newest pest control branch and is located within the town.
Ottershaw is a village in the Runnymede district of Surrey, England about 20 miles to the south-west of London. It is part of the mixed rural and suburban Foxhills ward and is part of the ecclesiastical parish of Ottershaw first established in 1864 in what was part of the parish of Chertsey. Immediately surrounding settlements are West Byfleet, Woodham, Addlestone and Chertsey, all areas covered by PEST UK. A significant landmark is Christ Church. This was the gift of one man, Sir Thomas Edward Colebrooke (1813–1890), who came to live in Ottershaw in 1859. He provided sufficient land from his estate for a church, churchyard and vicarage, paid all the construction costs and endowed the church with £100 per year.
Hannah Russell, British Paralympic swimmer, was born in Chertsey and lives in Ottershaw. At the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games she won silver in the 400m freestyle, and bronze in the 100m butterfly – setting a new British record, and bronze in the 100m backstroke. In the book The War of the Worlds by H G Wells, the fictional narrator is invited to an observatory in Ottershaw.
Ottershaw is a popular commuter base for people working in London but living in Ottershaw. Although the nearest rail link is in Woking there is a nearby M25 junction at the nearby village of Addlestone.
Ottershaw village has two pubs: the Otter, which has a restaurant, and the Castle in Brox Road; and an Indian restaurant: the Otters Spicy Cottage. Ottershaw is home of Foxhills Golf Club.
Pest Control In Ottershaw
PEST UK have pest control contracts with several large domestic properties in Ottershaw itself and more on the outskirts of Ottershaw. Many large domestic houses have pest control contracts. Often the reason that they have pest control contracts is not only to reduce the risk of pest problems but they know that in the event of a pest control problem (wether it be wasps, ants, bees, rats, mice, squirrels, bed bugs, cockroaches or any pest control problem) they can call upon a pest control technician who not only will be highly qualified and experienced but just as important, some one that is trustworthy. With PEST UK one (CRB checked) pest control technician will look after a contract and only that person will attend. Some pest control problems cannot be prevented but have to be dealt with as they arrive. A typical example of this is a wasp nest. No amount of preventative treatments will prevent a wasp nest forming (an exception may be an insecticide fog which will only be carried out if Queen wasps are seen in the Autumn or Spring). The Ottershaw pest control office also serves the surrounding areas of: Weybridge, Addlestone, Esher, Byfleet, Chertsey, West Byfleet and Virginia Water, all on a same day or next day pest control service 7 days a week.
Some of the pests we deal with:
|Rats||You may see rats during daylight hours but they prefer to operate at night.|
|Ants||Worker ants will frequently enter dwellings foraging for food, particularly sweet substances.|
|Cockroaches||Cockroaches are mainly nocturnal so they are more likely to be seen at night.|
|Squirrels||The most common complaint about Squirrels is when they take residence in a loft space.|
|Mice||You may see, hear or smell a mouse problem or see other evidence such as burrowing in insulation or soil.|
|Wasps||Wasps are aggressive and will sting readily if they think the nest is in danger.|
