Pest Control In Maidenhead
Jim Dunn runs the Maidenhead branch of PEST UK. We moved office from the High Street in Maidenhead to the current location. Maidenhead is a mid sized town in Berkshire situated on the River Thames East of Reading and West of London. It comes under (council wise) The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
There is a direct rail service to London and is set to be a mainline Station to the Crossrail line. It is also adjacent to the M4 with the A4 running through the centre. The first bridge over the Thames was erected in 1280 and helped the town to prosper. The current bridge was first erected in 1777. King Charles 1 met his children for the last time before he was executed in 1649 at The Greyhound Inn (now a Nat West branch). The urban area of Maidenhead includes: Maidenhead Court, North Town, Furze Platt, Pinkneys Green, Highway, Tittle Row, Boyn Hill, Fishery and Bray Wick, Cox Green & Altwood. Bray is still considered separate.
Several large companies have offices in Maidenhead and other industries include software, plastics, pharmaceuticals, printing and telecommunications. PEST UK has pest control contracts in several schools, the office of a large Japanese Electronics company, hotels, Private Houses, 2 Health Clubs, Pubs, a Housing Estate, Toy Manufacture Head Office and a Scout Group.
Some of the pests we deal with:
|Rats||You may see rats during daylight hours but they prefer to operate at night.|
|Ants||Worker ants will frequently enter dwellings foraging for food, particularly sweet substances.|
|Cockroaches||Cockroaches are mainly nocturnal so they are more likely to be seen at night.|
|Squirrels||The most common complaint about Squirrels is when they take residence in a loft space.|
|Mice||You may see, hear or smell a mouse problem or see other evidence such as burrowing in insulation or soil.|
|Wasps||Wasps are aggressive and will sting readily if they think the nest is in danger.|
